From the first idea to a finished script
Lemonhead Productions is pleased to announce a new online Script Writing Course, presented in collaboration with Mixta.mt. Led by Bryan Muscat, the course will be offered through recorded sessions in both Maltese and English.
Across three terms, students will move from developing an original dramatic idea to writing, completing and rewriting a full script. The course consists of 36 sessions in total, with 12 sessions in each term.

Thirty-six sessions across three terms
Term 1 · 12 sessions
From an idea to a dramatic story
The first term explores how dramatic writing works and helps each student develop an original project before beginning the script itself.

Term outcome. Students finish the term with a treatment for their proposed script, including the premise, principal characters, story outline, theme and intended audience.
Term 2 · 12 sessions
The craft of writing scenes
The second term moves from the overall story into the mechanics of dramatic writing: scenes, dialogue, subtext, structure and visual storytelling.

Term outcome. By the end of the term, students submit the first substantial section of their script, such as the opening fifteen to twenty pages or the first act.
Term 3 · 12 sessions
Form, completion and rewriting
The final term examines different dramatic forms while students complete, test and redraft their own work.
